Volunteers at YYC
Yellowhead Youth Centre (YYC) welcomes volunteers and supports their involvement any way we can. Whenever possible, the special talents of the volunteers are utilized in a particular role, or a special opportunity may be created to allow the volunteer to share their skills and interests with the clients.
Volunteer hours are established between the potential Volunteer, the YYC Volunteer Coordinator, and the volunteer supervisor. Anyone interested in volunteering may contact the program facilitator @ 780 454-0411 to discuss opportunities for volunteering.
Criminal record checks, Intervention Record Checks and an interview process are a part of determining volunteer suitability.
