Medical Services
Medical services at YYC are provided by one full-time registered nurse. The nurse assesses all clients upon admission and provides on-going medical services to YYC clients and staff on an emergency basis.
The nurse co-ordinates psychiatric, medical, dental, optical, laboratory and other medical services for YYC and as well is a liaison regarding medical issues between YYC and various community resources. The nurse is also a consultative resource to clients and staff on site.
